Centennial College's pre-service firefighter program provides you with the knowledge and practical skills to become a firefighter. This comprehensive training program provides you with the skills in fire suppression, rescue operations, environmental protection and emergency patient care, meeting both local and provincial fire service needs.

The pre-service firefighter education and training course runs for one year through three semesters. In the first semester, you're introduced to fire service, fire ground operations, fire equipment, fitness, fire suppression and emergency patient care.
